LAURA TURA was born in Rimini in 1998, moved to Milan to pursue a degree in Product Design at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. Alongside her studies, she developed a strong interest in digital arts, particularly photo editing, using Photoshop and other Adobe programs. Over time, this interest evolved into a deep passion marked by continuous research and curiosity, both in aesthetics and technique. Through self-referential images, Laura freely experiments with her anatomy, creating unsettling subjects that inhabit alien worlds. In this imagined reality, she redefines the boundaries of the human body through decompositions, manipulations, and surreal mixtures, drawing from her inner world and colliding with the tangible.

Her first work experience took place in 2020 with the brand SSheena, marking the beginning of her career as a post-production artist specializing in digital compositing. Since then, she has collaborated with magazines, emerging brands, editorials, and musicians. In 2024, she participated as an artist-in-residence at Fabrica, where she continued her personal research into contemporary aesthetics and the relationship between body, identity, and form through the development of bio-plastics.

The programs she uses most frequently are Photoshop, Adobe Firefly, After Effects, InDesign, Lightroom, and Camera Raw.
